Acceptable Use Policy
Effective: June 25, 2026 · Terravian.Systems · poweredbyassist.com
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) exists to protect you, the platform, and the broader ASSIST™ ecosystem. ASSIST™ deploys AI agents that operate in your name. Used responsibly, this infrastructure accelerates your business. Used irresponsibly, it can cause real harm to the people your agents contact, to your business, and to ASSIST™'s ability to operate.
This Policy applies to every Customer, Authorized User, Partner, and any person or system interacting with the ASSIST™ platform. By using ASSIST™, you agree to this Policy. If this Policy and the Terms of Service conflict, the Terms of Service govern.
2. Permitted Uses
Core permitted uses include: sales automation; appointment scheduling; intake and lead processing; customer service assistance within pre-configured parameters; internal workflow automation; and partner deployments under a Partner Agreement. All permitted uses must be lawful, authorized, and consistent with the legal rights of the people your agents contact.
3. Prohibited Uses
Illegal Activity. You may not use ASSIST™ for any purpose that violates applicable law, including fraud, money laundering, deceptive trade practices, or illegal solicitation.
Spam and Unsolicited Communications. You may not send communications without a lawful basis for contact under applicable law, including where applicable laws such as CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GDPR, CASL, and other applicable privacy, marketing, or communications laws.
Harassment and Abuse. No harassment, threats, intimidation, repeated unwanted contact after opt-out, or communications designed to cause distress.
Fraud and Deception. No deceiving anyone about your identity, organization, product, or the purpose of communications. No phishing. No misrepresentation.
Impersonation. Agents may not claim to be human when directly and sincerely asked, impersonate a specific individual without explicit authorization, or impersonate a competing brand.
Intellectual Property Infringement. No reproduction or distribution of content that infringes copyright, trademark, trade secret, patent, or other IP rights.
Reverse Engineering and Prompt Extraction. No attempt to extract, reproduce, or reverse-engineer ASSIST™'s system prompts, agent instructions, orchestration logic, or platform intelligence layer.
Training Competing Systems. No use of ASSIST™'s outputs, templates, or platform behavior as training data for any AI system competing with ASSIST™.
Cross-Customer Data Use. No access to, use of, or attempt to access data belonging to another ASSIST™ customer. Each Customer's Workspace is designed to be logically isolated.
Privacy Law Violations. No use that violates applicable privacy law, including using unlawfully obtained contact lists or deploying in regulated industries without required compliance arrangements.
Security Interference. No vulnerability scanning or security testing of the ASSIST™ platform without prior written authorization. No disruption or interference with platform operation.
Malware. No introduction or distribution of malware, viruses, ransomware, or harmful code.
Credential Sharing. No sharing login credentials with unauthorized individuals.
Platform Abuse. No excessive automated requests, no circumventing usage limits, no exploiting errors for unauthorized advantage.
Unauthorized Certification Claims. No representing your organization as “ASSIST™ Certified,” “Powered By ASSIST™,” or using any ASSIST™ certification language without current, written authorization from ASSIST™. A formal certification program is planned; using marks without authorization before that program exists is a trademark violation.
4. AI-Specific Restrictions
Agents may not be configured to provide legal, medical, or financial advice. Agents may not execute contracts or binding commitments without explicit human authorization. Agents may not claim to be human when directly and sincerely asked. Agents may not bypass required human approval steps. Agents may not make autonomous decisions in high-stakes situations (clinical triage, emergency response, employment decisions, credit decisions) without documented human oversight. Deployment in regulated industries requires required compliance arrangements in place first.
5. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for: the accuracy and lawfulness of data you bring to ASSIST™; reviewing and approving all templates before activation; complying with all applicable laws; maintaining active human oversight of deployed agents; managing Authorized User access; and acting on escalations promptly.
6. Security
Maintain strong, unique credentials. Notify ASSIST™ immediately through our legal page if you believe your account has been compromised. Only Authorized Users may access your Workspace. API access (planned for future availability) will carry additional security requirements when launched.
6A. Responsible Security Disclosure
ASSIST™ welcomes good-faith vulnerability reports. Report through our legal page before any public disclosure. Do not access real customer data or take any action beyond what is necessary to demonstrate the vulnerability. ASSIST™ will investigate in good faith and will not pursue legal action against researchers who comply with these guidelines.
7. Enforcement
ASSIST™ will generally apply this Policy in good faith and in a manner proportionate to the nature and severity of the violation. Actions available include: warn; limit; suspend; terminate; preserve evidence; cooperate with lawful requests. For violations that do not pose immediate risk of harm, ASSIST™ will generally provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to cure. Violations involving illegal activity, serious harm to third parties, or security threats may result in immediate action.
8. Reporting Abuse
To report a potential violation, security vulnerability, or trademark misuse: contact ASSIST™ through the information on our legal page at poweredbyassist.com/legal. ASSIST™ will not retaliate against anyone who makes a good-faith report.
9. Policy Changes
Updates will be posted at poweredbyassist.com/legal with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated to active Customers via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
10. Why This Policy Exists
This Policy exists to protect Customers, the people agents contact, Partners, and the platform. Used as intended, ASSIST™ is a force multiplier for ethical, scalable growth. This Policy defines the boundaries that make that possible. Questions? Contact us through our legal page.
