AI Disclaimer & Human Oversight Policy
Effective: June 25, 2026 · Terravian.Systems · poweredbyassist.com
1. Purpose
ASSIST™ deploys AI agents that act in your name. They draft communications, schedule meetings, process intake, and interact with your prospects and customers — automatically, at scale, on your behalf. This document makes the boundaries clear. It is a practical guide to using AI workforce infrastructure responsibly, so it works the way it's intended to work.
This Policy applies to all Customers, Authorized Users, and Partners. If you are deploying ASSIST™ in a regulated industry, additional requirements apply — see Section 6.
2. What ASSIST™ Does
ASSIST™ is designed to perform the following categories of front-office work: drafting and sending communications within pre-approved templates; appointment scheduling; intake processing; lead qualification and routing; customer service assistance for defined request categories; workflow coordination across these functions; and producing AI-generated recommendations (lead scores, qualification assessments, routing suggestions) to assist Customer decision-making.
3. What ASSIST™ Does Not Do
ASSIST™ does not guarantee accuracy. AI outputs are generated by AI models using patterns in data and context, not by a human exercising professional judgment. Outputs may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information.
ASSIST™ does not guarantee completeness. Agents work with the information they are given. Incomplete inputs produce incomplete outputs.
ASSIST™ does not guarantee legal compliance of outputs. You are responsible for ensuring the communications your agents send comply with all applicable laws.
ASSIST™ does not guarantee business outcomes. The platform is designed to create capacity — not to guarantee meetings booked, leads qualified, or revenue generated.
ASSIST™ does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. ASSIST™ is designed to be reliable, but continuous, uninterrupted operation is not warranted.
ASSIST™ does not provide professional advice. Nothing generated by ASSIST™ constitutes legal, medical, financial, psychological, or other professional advice.
4. Human Oversight
Human oversight is a design requirement of ASSIST™, not an optional feature. The platform is built around the principle that AI handles execution while humans handle judgment.
Required before action: Before any outreach template or automated workflow is activated for the first time; before any configuration change that materially affects what agents say or who they contact; when an agent surfaces an escalation flag; in all regulated-industry interactions.
Required on an ongoing basis: Periodic review of live workflows (recommended: monthly); review of agent performance metrics; review of escalation patterns.
Required before any consequential action: Contracts, legal commitments, financial decisions, communications to individuals in active disputes, and any situation where an error could cause irreversible harm.
Human oversight does not require reviewing every message. For pre-approved sequences, oversight was exercised at the template-approval stage. Ongoing oversight means monitoring that the system operates within the parameters you approved.
5. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for: reviewing and approving all AI-generated content before activation; maintaining accurate and lawfully obtained data; monitoring deployed automations; complying with all applicable laws; supervising Authorized Users; and acting on escalations promptly.
6. High-Risk Use Cases
Healthcare: Requires a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement (BAA) before any PHI is processed. ASSIST™ agents are not designed to provide clinical guidance or medical advice.
Legal Services: Agents must perform only administrative functions. Nothing ASSIST™ generates constitutes legal advice or the practice of law.
Financial Services: Deployment requires applicable regulatory compliance review.
Employment Decisions: ASSIST™ may not make autonomous decisions about hiring, promotion, or termination.
Emergency Response: ASSIST™ is not designed for any context where a delayed or incorrect response could endanger life or safety.
7. AI Outputs
ASSIST™ agents produce outputs by processing inputs through AI models that identify patterns in data and context and generate responses. This is not the same as a human reasoning through a situation — it produces useful, often accurate results, but is not infallible.
Output categories and their review expectations: Draft (review required before activation); Customer-Approved (customer has accepted responsibility); Automated (ongoing monitoring; not per-instance review); Recommended (human decides whether to act); Escalated (human response required). The ASSIST™ Ownership Charter governs who owns AI outputs.
8. Model Evolution
ASSIST™ is designed to improve over time. Updates may affect agent behavior. ASSIST™ will generally notify Customers of material behavioral changes in advance where practicable. Periodic review of your configurations is sound operational practice as the platform evolves.
9. Limitations
Hallucinations and factual errors: AI models can produce plausible-sounding but factually incorrect outputs. Review outputs for accuracy when specific facts or claims are involved.
Stale or outdated information: AI models may not reflect recent developments. Keep configurations current.
Context limitations: When a situation is ambiguous, agents follow configured logic. Escalation logic surfaces these situations; its effectiveness depends on how well it is configured.
Dependence on your data: Output quality depends on input quality. ASSIST™ does not independently validate the data you provide.
No claim of human-level judgment: ASSIST™ does not claim its agents exercise human-level judgment. The platform handles high-volume, repeatable work with consistency and scale. Situations requiring nuanced judgment should be escalated to humans.
10. Responsible AI Use
AI is an assistive technology. ASSIST™ is designed to give your organization the capacity to do more. Human judgment remains essential — ASSIST™ handles volume and consistency; you bring context, accountability, and the professional judgment that no AI can replicate. Questions about this Policy, high-risk deployments, or responsible use practices are welcome through our legal page.
